Happy World Vegetarian Day!!


Yay, today is World Vegetarian Day and the kick-off of Vegetarian Awareness Month!


So whether or not you are already a vegetarian, why not take this Friday to look at your eating habits, try out a new recipe, take a look at the environmental impact of eating meat and fully explore what it means to be vegetarian and why you should consider it? You don't have to decide in one day, but making smart educated decisions about where your food comes from, what goes on your plate and then goes into your body is truly living your Yoga.


We should all start to consider living more ahimsically (non-violent action) and cut meat and other animal by-products out of our diet completelly. There is enough violence in the world already, we don't need to contribute to that on a dialy basis. We should all consider living a life of compassion and empathy to all living creatures, the earth and ultimately ourselves. Lets show love and kindness and watch how the world changes.
