I am loving this song. So beautiful. Relationships end. Some sooner that others and some more painfully. But the thing about endings is they don't take away from the beginning, from the moments in-between, the memories made, the laughter, the tears. These are yours forever. No one in the world will share these exact moments except you and your lover. They are all yours. And even when love doesn't work out, it doesn't mean it wasn't real and pure and beautiful and wasn't all you had to give. The end never diminishes the beauty, it is mostly always sad but in the sadness there is a light, a shimmer of hope and beauty that the end brings with it. G x
